This year (Saturday 7th June) there will be a number of road closures to make the route safer for runners. We understand that road closures can inconvenience residents and other road users so we will keep them as short as possible. If you do encounter a road closure, please remember it is only one day a year and it won’t be for too long !

A road closure team will be managing temporary road restrictions to keep everyone safe. Their job is to ensure that runners and everyone else can go about their day with minimal disruption.

They have the legal authority to temporarily close certain roads, redirect traffic, and control access to create a safe environment. We understand road closures can be an inconvenience, but rest assured, the team is working hard to keep things running smoothly.
